How a frameless shower job works (from walkthrough to install)

1. Consultation & walkthrough
We come to the house. We measure the opening, look at the pan or curb, talk through door swing, glass, and hardware, and tell you if something in the opening will be a problem. We don’t tile and we don’t remodel the bathroom — if you need a contractor, we’ll say so.

No showroom. If you want to see a frameless unit in person, there’s a mockup at Devoe Tile and Design Center in Biddeford. We also bring hardware and glass samples.

2. Design, drawing, & estimate
You get a drawing: dimensions, door swing, glass spec, and the finish. You’ll also see photos of the actual hardware, not a generic catalog page. Nothing gets cut until you’re looking at that.

Every job is quoted. Layout, glass, and hardware change the number. We don’t publish a fake starting price.

3. Fabrication & install
Glass is fabricated locally. Lead time is usually about four to six weeks, longer in the busy season or if a finish is backordered. We’ll say so up front.

Install is on your schedule, Gray to York — Portland, Biddeford, Saco, Scarborough, Falmouth, Kennebunk, and the towns in between. We hang it, we clean it up, and if something’s wrong later, we make it right.

What we also do
Custom mirrors (including tight walls and double vanities), fogged insulated-glass replacement when the frame is still good, residential windows, and commercial glass repair. Showers are the work we care about most.
