While lead times can vary depending on time of year, production demand, and product availability, typical lead time is around 3–6 weeks from measure to install.

We have a 1,600 sq ft workshop in Dayton, but no showroom with displays. You can see a full frameless shower mock-up at Devoe Color & Design Center in Biddeford, Maine. We also bring hardware and glass samples to every walkthrough.

Pricing on shower enclosures can vary pretty drastically. Starting at around $1,000–$1,500+.

No. We only design, fabricate, and install frameless glass shower enclosures, custom mirrors, etc. However, we do work closely with many building and remodeling contractors, and would be happy to provide a recommendation upon request.

Yes. Beach Glass & Window Company measures and installs custom frameless shower doors and enclosures throughout greater Portland and southern Maine — including Biddeford, Saco, Scarborough, Falmouth, and Kennebunk. Chris and David measure on site, the glass is fabricated locally, and they come back to install it. Call 207-934-4393 to request an estimate.

Most of our work is residential — showers, mirrors, windows, and insulated glass in homes around greater Portland and southern Maine. We also do commercial glass repair (broken or damaged glass on a shop or building). We’re not a storefront contractor, though we will look at things on a job-to-job basis. In most cases, yes. When the seal fails, the insulated glass unit (the two panes) is what has to come out — not the sash or the frame. We replace fogged or broken insulated glass in existing windows throughout Cumberland and York counties. If the frame itself is shot, we’ll tell you that on the walkthrough. Call 207-934-4393.

A custom-cut mirror, sized to the wall — one wide piece or two panels — usually beats a store-bought frame. Beach Glass & Window Company cuts, edges, and hangs bathroom mirrors to fit the space, including double vanities and awkward walls in the Portland / southern Maine area. We’ll measure on site. Our 5-year labor warranty covers our installation, and hardware is covered by the manufacturer for up to 15 years. Repairs to existing doors and installs of customer-supplied enclosures aren’t covered by the labor warranty. See our Warranty & Care page for details.

Yes. We offer financing through Affirm, so you can pay over time if that works better for you. Just let us know when you get your estimate and we'll send you the details.

Yes, but repairs don’t come with our labor warranty.

In almost all cases, no. Tempered glass can’t be cut or altered in any way once it’s made, and retrofitting old glass usually costs more and takes longer than making new glass.

Yes, on a case-by-case basis, but those installs don’t come with our labor warranty.

Use cheap 2-ply, lint-free paper towels and an ammonia-free glass cleaner. Sprayway Glass Cleaner is a great one, and it’s what we use every day.

Yes. We sell and install Harvey replacement windows, supplied through Lansing Building Products, and Andersen storm doors. We can also install new construction windows in newly framed homes, though most builders handle those themselves. We don’t install new construction windows in existing homes or openings, because that means removing and replacing trim and siding and re-flashing the opening. Replacement windows we install come with our 5-year labor warranty, plus the manufacturer’s warranty on the window itself.
