Frameless Glass Shower Doors in Wells, Ogunquit & York, ME

From Wells Beach and Moody to Ogunquit, York Harbor and Cape Neddick, a lot of our southern York County work is in beach houses and second homes, and a lot of it is in crystal-clear low-iron glass. Our recent jobs here include a Wells home with three low-iron enclosures, a Wells Beach shower with his-and-hers rain heads, a low-iron Starphire shower in Ogunquit, a steam shower in York, and frameless doors cut to fit under sloped ceilings. Beach Glass & Window Company designs and installs custom frameless glass shower enclosures, sliders and steam shower enclosures. Our workshop is on Clarks Mills Road in Dayton. When you call, you'll talk with Chris or David, the same people who measure your bathroom, draw your enclosure and install it.

Frameless Shower Services for Wells, Ogunquit & York Homes

  • Frameless shower doors and enclosures. Custom-sized doors, inline panels, corner and neo-angle enclosures, knee-wall and half-wall setups, curbless and walk-in showers, designed and installed by us.
  • Steam shower enclosures. Custom frameless steam shower enclosures, run up to the ceiling and built to the opening.
  • Sliding glass shower and tub doors. Heavy-glass bypass sliders, CRL Cambridge and Serenity-style sliders, and barn-door-style sliders for tubs, walk-in showers, and bathrooms where a swinging door won't fit.
  • ShowerGuard coated glass. Available on request, including low-iron glass for a clearer, less green edge.
  • Hardware finishes. Hardware from C.R. Laurence (CRL) and FHC in every finish they offer, including polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, satin brass, and brushed bronze, for hinges, handles, clips, and sliders.
  • Custom mirrors. Bathroom and gym mirrors cut to size, with cut-outs or bevel edges.
  • Insulated glass and window glass. Replacement of foggy or broken dual-pane (insulated) units, all sizes and shapes.
  • Flat and painted glass. Painted-glass backsplashes and accent walls; annealed, tempered, and laminated glass; acrylic.

We don't do full bathroom remodels. We work closely with local builders, designers, remodelers and tile setters, and we measure once the tile is finished.

Built for Wells, Ogunquit & York bathrooms

  • Low-iron glass. Many of our recent showers here use low-iron glass, which is clearer than standard glass, without the green edge.
  • Big walk-in showers. Frameless panels and doors on knee walls work well for large primary showers, including ones with two shower heads.
  • Sliders. Heavy-glass roller sliders like the CRL Cambridge and Serenity keep a tub or walk-in shower open and bright, with no door to swing.
  • Sloped ceilings. In top-floor baths and under rooflines we cut the glass to the roofline and add a header where it's needed.
  • Steam showers. We build custom steam shower enclosures, including one in York.
  • Multi-bath homes. We've done whole houses at once, like a Wells home with three low-iron enclosures and an Ogunquit home with two.
