  • Frameless shower doors and enclosures. Custom-sized doors, inline panels, corner and neo-angle enclosures, knee-wall and half-wall setups, curbless and walk-in showers, designed and installed by us.
  • Sliding glass shower and tub doors. Heavy-glass bypass sliders, CRL Cambridge and Serenity-style sliders, and barn-door-style sliders for tubs, walk-in showers, and bathrooms where a swinging door won't fit.
  • Doors for fiberglass and acrylic surrounds. Semi-frameless and framed sliders and hinged doors for one-piece tub and shower units, sized to the unit you already have.
  • Notched and sloped glass. Panels notched around a knee wall or cut to a sloped ceiling, for camps, Capes and bathrooms tucked under the stairs.
  • Steam shower enclosures. Custom frameless steam shower enclosures, run up to the ceiling and built to the opening.
  • ShowerGuard coated glass. Available on request, including low-iron glass for a clearer, less green edge.
  • Hardware finishes. Hardware from C.R. Laurence (CRL) and FHC in every finish they offer, including polished chrome, brushed nickel, matte black, satin brass, and brushed bronze, for hinges, handles, clips, and sliders.
  • Custom mirrors. Bathroom and gym mirrors cut to size, with cut-outs or bevel edges.
  • Insulated glass and window glass. Replacement of foggy or broken dual-pane (insulated) units, all sizes and shapes.
  • Flat and painted glass. Painted-glass backsplashes and accent walls; annealed, tempered, and laminated glass; acrylic.

We don't do full bathroom remodels. We work closely with local builders, designers, remodelers and tile setters, and we measure once the tile is finished.

  • Lake camps. We've built frameless showers for camps and lake houses on Swan Pond, Kennebunk Pond and Bunganut Lake, including a notched frameless enclosure for a Bunganut Lake primary bath.
  • Fiberglass and acrylic units. If you have a one-piece tub or shower unit, we can replace a worn-out door or curtain with a new slider or hinged door made for it.
  • Sloped ceilings and odd corners. We cut glass to fit under a roofline or a staircase, and build neo-angle enclosures for corner showers.

Our Process

  1. Consultation and walkthrough. Chris or David visits your home to measure and talk through layout, glass, and hardware options. We bring physical hardware and glass samples.
  2. Design, drawing, and estimate. You approve dimensions, door swing, glass spec, and finish before anything is ordered.
  3. Fabrication. Glass is fabricated locally. Typical turnaround is 3–6 weeks from measure to install.
  4. Installation. We come back and install on your schedule, then clean up before we leave.

Buxton, Hollis, Lyman & Waterboro Frameless Shower FAQ

How much does a frameless shower door cost in Buxton, Hollis, Lyman or Waterboro? Pricing depends on size, layout, glass, and hardware. Frameless enclosures start at $1,000–1,500 and go up from there. Every estimate is free and itemized.

How long does it take? Typical turnaround is 3–6 weeks from measure to install, because every piece of glass is made to your measurements.

I have a fiberglass tub and shower unit. Can you put a glass door on it? Yes. We install sliders and hinged doors made for one-piece fiberglass and acrylic units, sized to your existing tub or shower. We'll measure and show you options at the walkthrough.

Can you build a shower for a lake camp? Yes. We've built frameless showers for camps and lake houses on Swan Pond, Kennebunk Pond and Bunganut Lake. Every panel is made to our on-site measurements, so uneven walls and sloped ceilings aren't a problem.

Can you fit glass under a sloped ceiling or stairs? Yes. We cut panels to the slope or notch them around a knee wall, so the glass fits the space you have.

What's the difference between a frameless slider and a hinged door? A hinged door swings out into the bathroom. A frameless slider, such as the CRL Serenity or Cambridge, rolls along a top rail, so it works where there's no room for a door to swing.

How close are you? Very. Our workshop is at 371 Clarks Mills Road in Dayton, just minutes from Buxton, Hollis, Lyman and Waterboro.
