Shower Glass and Mirrors for Builders, Remodelers and Designers

A lot of our work comes through builders, remodelers, designers and tile setters. Beach Glass & Window Company is a small, owner-run glass shop in Dayton, and we've been shower glass specialists since 2010. We're often the last trade into the bathroom, so we know the job is judged on how the glass looks when the client walks in. We work across York and Cumberland counties, from Gray to York.

How we work with you

You deal with the owners. Chris or David answers the phone, measures, draws and installs. You won't be passed around.
We measure once the tile is finished, so the glass fits the finished opening, not the framing.
Drawings and itemized quotes. Your client gets a drawing with dimensions, door swing, glass spec and finish, plus photos of the actual hardware, before anything is cut. That means fewer surprises and fewer change orders.
Honest lead times. Typical turnaround is 3–6 weeks from measure to install, and we'll tell you up front if a finish is backordered.
Samples and a mock-up for your clients. We bring hardware-finish and glass-type samples to every walkthrough. A full frameless shower mock-up is on display at Devoe Color & Design Center in Biddeford, a good place to send clients who want to see one in person.
Clean installs. We install on your schedule and clean up before we leave. If there's ever an issue, we'll make it right at no cost to you.
Trade references are available on request.

We don't tile or remodel, so we're not competing with you for the bathroom. We're happy to recommend builders and tile setters to homeowners who call us first.

Builder & Designer FAQ

When should we call you in? Early is best, so we can talk through the opening, curb and any knee walls before tile. We measure for glass once the tile is finished.

Can our clients see a frameless shower before they choose? Yes. Send them to the frameless mock-up at Devoe Color & Design Center in Biddeford. We also bring hardware and glass samples to the walkthrough.

How long is the lead time? Typically 3–6 weeks from measure to install. It can run longer in the busy season or if a finish is backordered, and we'll tell you up front.

Do you do commercial work? Most of our work is residential. We also do commercial glass repair and mirror work, and we'll look at other commercial jobs case by case.
